Accident / Slow down write

I was just sitting at the intersection when a truck came flying out into the the street and slammed into a van. It was skidding and braking hundreds of pieces of everywhere. The people in the van look so terrified. They had such a damaged car It looked like it had been hit hit by a train. There were parts of the van and truck everywhere. The van was rolling and smashing into the side walk were it lay destroyed. There was so many people running over to see if they were all right. We just stared in amazement and then drove off. It could have been us.
